So we got the news yesterday: TJ is in full remission.
This doesn't mean that the journey is over, only that we find ourselves on a path that offers the most hope. Tests can never be completely accurate, so we still have about two and a half years of chemotherapy to go to do our best to make sure every single cell of the cancer is gone. Missing even one means that it comes back, and is harder to cure the second time around.
Tomorrow we have surgery and chemo to start the second phase (consolidation).
Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and offers of support. We will keep posting to keep everyone informed!
